Today, Evening time some uncalled guests appeared. Like all punjabi's family I had also offered them tea ( chai- shai lena tusi? ) . I went to my kitchen to make tea, on other side looking for some snacks. Found empty each and every snacks box. (dabbes). I utter " O babaji Hun ki karan" i.e O god what to do. Than I found a biscuit packet in a box which was beside my rack. It was Parle - G biscuit or you can say "Shaktimaan biscuit". Actually my daughter used to have this biscuit daily. For her its nice and healthier but to serve guests its not. Than I thought why not to bake cake with this Parle - G which is very easier tasty and less time consuming let me share this easy and 5 min cake.


Ingredients:-  


1 packet Parle-G ( Rs 10)

Powdered Sugar 1/4 cup

1 cup milk

1 tbsp vanella essence

Dry fruits ( almonds, cashews )

Eno

2-3 tbsp Ghee


How to make:-


(1) First powdered the biscuit in a mixer.


(2) Mix the powdered biscuit well along with sugar, milk,vanilla essenc
e and baking soda.

(3) Mix the batter a little to make smooth together.

(4) Add milk if the batter is thick.


(5) Grease the container with ghee or oil.

(6) Transfer batter into container & bake 5-6 minutes.

INSTANT SUJI APPAM IN 3 MINUTES


Today's receipe is for all Women whose husband is foody but at the same time restricted himsellf as afraid of gaining weight. From my personal experience,I can say it is also for those women who were fedup of making parathas in daily basis, I'd add this breakfast receipe in my husband diet as he had reached 78 kg by having parathas in breakfast, let me share easier and healthier instant 'APPAM' Receipe which is less time consuming. Let's see the ingredients first :-


INGREDIENTS:-


1. 1/2 Cup Rawa (Suji) - 100 gm

2. 1/2 cup beaten yogurt

3. 2-3 chopped green chilly

4. 1/2 Cauliflower (Chopped)

5. 1/2 Capsicum (chopped)

6. Some curry leaves

7. 1 tbsp Musturd seeds

8. 1/2 inch Ginger paste

9. Salt to taste

10.Eno

11. Oil - 2 tbsp


HOW TO MAKE:-

1. Take Suji in a bowl  &  add some curd along with chopped Cauliflower, capsicum, green chilly, ginger paste, salt, & Mix them well.

2. Add some water if the batter appears to be thick.




3. Cover & keep the batter aside for 10-15 minutes.

4. Take oil in a small pan & heat. Add mustard  seeds to it when the seeds splutter, add  curry leaves into it.

5. Pour this tempering to the batter & Mix well.

6. In the end add Eno or baking powder & Mix gently.

7. On the other side preheat APPAM maker & pour oil in its each mould.

8. Fill each mould  with the batter & let them cook for 3 minutes in low           medium flame.

9. When the APPAM gets golden brown, Flip the side & continue cooking to 1 minute.

10. Take out the Roasted APPAM in a plate.



Note - Enjoy serving them with green Corriander chatni or tomato sauce or any other chatni as per your desire taste.

INSTANT SOFT AND PUFFY SUJI DHOKLA IN 15 MIN.

I wonder to write my first blog so after wondering, discovering and fighting with my mind and ofcourse myself too, than I came to a stoppage where I am trying to be better after my marriage i.e Cooking. The first dish which my mother-in-law teaches me was - SUJI DKOKLA.(famous dish of Gujarat) Let me share this easy and instant breakfast receipe which is healthier and non oily. However it is tempering, fluffy and sponge.

Ingredients:-


1. Suji ( rawa) - 2 cup

2.yogurt beaten 1 cup

3. Salt to taste

4. 2-3 pinch turmeric powder

5. Eno

6 . 1/2 tbsp sugar

7. 2 tbsp Oil.



For Tempering:-



Mustard seeeds

Green chilly

Chopped corriander leaves

1 tbsp Oil

 How to make:-


1. Add rava and curd in a bowl and mix them well along with turmeric powder, sugar & salt.

2. Some water can be added to the thick batter if required.

3. Keep the batter aside for 20 minutes to make batter puffy.

4. Add Eno and mix it well to make softy and spongy dhokla.

5. Pour batter into dhokla pan.

6. Keep 15-20 minutes to cook.

7. Remove the cooked dhokla and cut it into pieces , season with crackled mustard seeds , green chilly and corriander leaves.
